Photos - Fill #2 on 4-2-12

At this point, I had a total of 120 cc's in each expander Prior to this fill, but never knew, because they filled 60 cc's while in the operating room.  No one bothered to tell me. I just found this out 2 months later.

These are the cards they provide you with to show at the airport, etc.

Loaded up and ready to fill my "water balloons!"

The first step is to find the fill hole.  It is in the center of a metal plate in the tissue expanders.

This is the VERY COOL little tool they use to find the spot.  It is like a magnetic compass.

Next, she marks the spot with a permanent marker, so it won't wash off when she sterilizes the area.

Then, she administers the local anesthesia - which makes NO SENSE to me, because my whole chest is completely numb anyway.  They take all the nerves out.  I can't feel a thing on the surface.

Next they "puncture" the tissue expanders and fill you up, slowly.  It takes several minutes to empty all the saline water into the expander.

Here I am after 100 cc's in each, for a total of 220 cc's each!  Starting to have bumps again.  This was very exciting after being so flat and deformed looking for what felt like so long.

Dr. Andochick's first appearance since the actual operation! LOL
